There is no
simple way
to be human.

Therapy can be a place to understand the person you have become, the worlds you have had to find your way through, and become curious about how you want to meet what comes next.

Who I Work With

I work with adults navigating:

 Identity & Belonging
 Queer experiences
 Racialized experiences
 Migration & Immigration stress
 Relationships & Ethical non-monogamy
 Grief & Suicide loss
 Anxiety & Uncertainty
 Shame & Self-relationship
 Trauma & Protection
 Body & Embodiment
 Meaning & Life transitions
 Substance use & Harm reduction

How I Practise

The person comes before the theory.

Therapy begins with understanding your experience rather than fitting you into a predetermined way of working.

01

Curiosity before assumption.

I want to understand your world on its own terms.

02

Understanding before intervention.

We make sense of what matters before deciding what to do.

03

Relationship before prescription.

Change happens in connection, not in isolation.

About Me

I’m Jas Chauhan.

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a gay, second-generation South Asian man. My work has been shaped by questions of identity, belonging, culture, the body, grief, shame, and what it means to live with experiences that cannot always be neatly resolved.

I tend to be warm, engaged, collaborative, exploratory, and gently challenging. I want to understand what you are going through in the context of your life rather than reduce it to something that simply needs fixing.

Reduced-fee counselling may be available.
